I've been using 5 HTP for years now. I take 3 capsules a day starting at about 4 o'clock in the afternoon, another after eating supper, and the third about an hour before bedtime. It helps soothe me into a good night's sleep.

Very positive! I take 3 capsules a day, starting around 4 pm, another with my evening meal, and the last around 9 pm, approx an hour and a half before my normal bedtime. I drop off to sleep these days, despite sometimes being plagued by anxieties, without any problem. My cats are glad I don't insist on reading prior to going to sleep. I turn off the reading lamp and we all cuddle.
